About Us

Donny and Sarah are the Owners of Bulletproof Insulations with Donny as the acting CEO. Donny has worked in general construction and heavy equipment for most of the last 20 years. He is currently a resident operator for Yellowstone County working Monday through Thursday.

Sarah is the lab manager for Genex Billings, a position she took in 2008.

The story of how they became the owners of Bulletproof Insulation begins when they were looking to purchase a home and put in an offer on one they liked. While on their first showing they noticed that the attic didn't have any insulation in it and decided that after purchasing the home they would fix that by getting some foam insulation installed. Donny called a company that he knew of and learned that the owner was no longer installing insulation and was looking to sell his equipment. The purchase of the house fell through but Donny and Sarah decided that it might be time to look at other income streams. After a second conversation with the owner of the spray foam equipment they  decided to move forward with purchasing it. In January of 2019 Donny and Sarah wrote their business proposal with the help of Big Sky Economic Development. In February First Interstate Bank financed the purchase and Bulletproof Insulation was founded.

Donny is licensed EMT and is currently working on his certificate through SPFA and has also written a short novel. He and Sarah have two sons and a daughter.

***There is a rumor that if you look at the right moment you might be able to catch Donny in the act of enjoying one of his all time favorite pastimes...watching the foam rise.
